Casting calls underway for Marvel Studios ‘Thor: The Dark World’ | Disney Film Auditions
The eighth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - “Thor: The Dark World” - is now in pre-production and the casting directors in Los Angeles and London are auditioning talent for co-starring and supporting roles. The bulk of filming will take place in London, with some additional filming in Los Angeles. Extras, photo-doubles, and stand-ins will be hired in London and various areas of the United Kingdom, as well as in Los Angeles. Filming on “Thor: The Dark World” will run from September 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012

Eeeeeep, project! What would our audition piece be though? Monologue from Serenity?
“I aim to misbehave” seems fitting, considering.
PS Kristin, you ARE Scandinavian, they have to hire you as an Asgardian!

I could just stand there speaking Norwegian. Because they could use some, you know, actual Norwegians to speak Norwegian in these films (Case in point: my WTF moment at the dialogue in the Tønsberg scene during Captain America).
Or Norse! I could recite Queen Ragnhild’s Dream from Heimskringla just to show how badass I am at pronouncing old Norse.
Ragnhildr dróttning dreymði drauma stóra; hon var spòk at viti. Sá var einn draumr hennar, at hon Þóttist vera stòdd i grasgarði sinum ok taka þorn einn ór serk sér; ok er hon helt á, þá óx hann svá, at þat varð teinn einn mikill, svá at annarr endir tók jòrð niðr ok varð brátt rótfastr, en annarr endir trésins tók hátt i loptit upp. Þvi næst sýndist henni tréit svá mikit, at hon fekk varla sét yfir upp; þat var furðu digrt. Hinn neðsti hlutr trésins var rauðr sem blóð, en þá leggrinn upp fagrgrænn, en upp til limanna snjóhvítt. Anyway, I’m thinking if we just showed up in some metal corsets they’d just have to hire us for our sheer radiance. *nods*

THAT SOUNDS SO BEAUTIFUL. You must say this for me next time we meet (yeyyy Elements!) along with the blueberry jam thing.
Tom would probably ask for thy hand in marriage on the spot :’)We could come to a rental agreement. And we do look fecking fabulous in corsets.

(We’re not in corsets here but people can see how radiant we are)
